Ealing too strong for Championship

Well done to Ealing Trailfinders for winning the Championship – although once Jersey Reds were no longer in the competition it was a foregone conclusion.
Coventry are on the up and indeed beat Ealing this season, but it must be demoralising for the players knowing that title success brings nothing more than a medal.
Ealing are too good for the Championship and need to be tested week in, week out.
I’m intrigued to see what their squad looks like next season. They have a good mix of old pros and talented young players who might be tempted away if there is no chance of playing at a higher level...
