Camborne defeat a concern

LAST weekend’s 109 points to nil win by Dings over Camborne in National Two West should have set alarm bells ringing at Twickenham.
Cornwall is the only county in England where rugby union has traditionally been the main sport, so when one of that county’s top three clubs suffers such a humiliation, the RFU must ask why.
One of the main reasons is that Cornwall’s strength was traditionally based on bringing the best talent from all its clubs into a county team playing in a meaningful and logically formatted County Championship.
