I WAS interested to read the article on Shaunagh Brown last week. My wife, a former England U19 pack leader in 2003, made the decision to put her career first and become a physiotherapist rather than put all her efforts into something that didn’t pay.
She stopped playing at the top level in 2018 having played in the semi-finals of the inaugural Premier XVs. At that point the requirement to train twice a week and play a game was an obvious second to her career.
