WITH Coventry attracting a record crowd of 5,047 to Butts Park Arena for the Boxing Day clash with Nottingham, Ampthill RFC attracting their largest ever home gate and Cornish Pirates their biggest home gate in four years, hopefully RFU CEO Bill Sweeney might have been eating some humble pie along with his turkey sandwiches after recently stating that Championship rugby doesn’t deliver.
