Game is bigger than RFU Board and Premiership

THE more I learn of the dire situation English rugby finds itself in, the more I worry that our government is not the only institution which has proved itself incompetent and impervious to its customers’ concerns.
Recent days have been dominated by the total condemnation by the rugby community of the RFU’s ludicrous proposal to line the pockets of a handful of Premiership clubs (what’s left of them) and outside investors at the expense of the far larger rugby community.
