Exeter are just taking a shrewd approach to business

IN response to the comments made by Neil Fissler in last week’s paper and numerous others recently, is there any actual evidence that Exeter are experiencing “serious financial problems?”
It seems a bit of a leap to conclude that Henry Slade selling his house can be taken as further evidence – if he is thinking of pastures new after the forthcoming season then it’s a bit early to sell isn’t it?
