Time for Champ clubs to lead way

IN last weekend’s Rugby Paper, Chris Hewett wrote how Fiji, Samoa, Georgia, and others are cheated by the way in which the big nations, and those with deep pockets such as the USA, rule the roost.
Yet Coventry, Cornish Pirates, Jersey, Ealing and the rest are treated just as badly as Fiji and co by the Premiership, and by extension the RFU, with that league’s appalling ring fence; and the RFU does nothing about it.
