WELL another grassroots season has finally come to a shambolic end all thanks to the RFU. The leagues were changed to reduce the amount of travel and the number of games were reduced all in the name of player welfare, retaining players and making it more attractive to players.
So what have we ended up with? Well at my club, the last game of the season was on March 23. It was a home game and the last opportunity for some much needed income.
