ENGLAND’S game under Steve Borthwick against Scotland, even in defeat, was a vast improvement on Eddie Jones’ management schism.
Unfortunately, when England score, the opposition seem to find it easy to score a try in retaliation. It could have been a triumph, had it not been for Owen Farrell’s poor kicking from the tee, plus the substitution of Jack van Poortvliet for Ben Youngs. Why? Van Poortviliet was having a good game. Why Youngs was considered is beyond me, because he’s too slow.
