MIKE Forshaw’s departure to the Wales set-up is a huge loss to Sale – and a major coup for Warren Gatland. Sale boss Alex Sanderson said he is the best defence coach he has worked with and you can see why. Sale have conceded the fewest tries and the fewest points in the Premiership this season.
Much of Wales’ success previously under Gatland was built on Shaun Edwards’ defensive system and with Forshaw on board I expect it to be similarly strong.
