THE letter from George Cansino in TRP’s December 4 edition regarding an expanded Six Nations contained some good points, however I’d be more inclined to agree with Brendan Gallagher’s column from the previous week.
I do think that there is a way to preserve the tradition of the Six Nations and at the same time a way to help the likes of Georgia, Romania, Spain and Portugal etc.
First of all, any expansion would see it set in stone that the established teams from the the Six Nations cannot be relegated. Second, a slight change in format could be the missing link. ...
