I KNOW it is a long time since I was a player or referee, but why can’t we have the same rules regarding talking to the referee during a game? It was always the designated pack leader, or leader of the backs, and the team captain who was allowed to speak to the ref.
Now, especially with any South African on the pitch, they all are not just speaking, but gesticulating and shouting at the ref. It is not just in internationals but Premiership games as well. Bring back respect to the person in the middle, they are as much a professional as the players.
