ROB Andrew lays the fault for the parlous state of professional clubs’ finances at the door of the club owners and the RFU, but qualifies this by adding “to be fair to the RFU, they have no visibility on these businesses”.
That’s just not true. Anybody can access company accounts information via the Companies House website, revealing how any company balance sheet looks, be it healthy or otherwise.
