Rob’s right – bring in a 10-team Prem

THE sad news that both Wasps and Worcester have been suspended from the Premiership is a sorry indictment of rugby union’s woeful inability to manage its finances.
Despite its injury crisis, the game is more popular than ever as a broadcast sport with Test rugby drawing huge crowds.
Yet English rugby has been a financial shambles through the RFU allowing the Premiership to exert a hugely damaging stranglehold on the country’s club scene.
