Rugby atmosphere far more engaging

LAST Saturday, I enjoyed a superb day at Twickenham followed by the sight of Gloucester and Harlequins players walking around the pitch to engage with supporters.
Watching television on Sunday, I saw an Aston Villa player being attacked by a supporter (following two other similar incidents in the last week).
As usual, the football media will blame such incidents on a few mindless thugs, but I’m afraid the problem runs much deeper.
