Spiteful slight of Caldy had no merit

I WAS dismayed to read Mr Warren’s spiteful letter last week, which without foundation attacked the competence of the referee and the character and sportsmanship of the Caldy RFC players.
I was at the game and I do not recognise any of Mr Warren’s complaints as having any merit. The match was a tremendous advert for National One rugby and was played in a good spirit by both sides and in my opinion was well handled by Adam Wookey.
