RUGBY Union is in desperate need of an injection of common sense! So many aspects of the game aren’t right.
1. Head high tackles – this can be put right by World Rugby (WR) bringing the height of tackles down to the waist or below. Coaches need to buy in to this by teaching players to “go low” and stop the obsession of going for the ball. Defence coaches are dominating the game and it is time attack coaches took over.
