I KNOW the piece is under the section “views” but I’ve rarely read such illinformed nonsense by Colin Boag.
To paraphrase he says there are two types of game “elite” i.e. Premiership, international, some in the Championship and the rest. This cannot go unchallenged, as readers may actually think it’s true.
Rugby Union in England is a large layer cake where the lines separating the strata are blurred, and County rugby adds a vertical flavour through several of the horizontal layers.
