Pity Bears could not cut Scarlets a break

WITH a 13-team Premiership there are going to be free weekends. Looking ahead, Bristol have no game on the weekend of the January 8/9. Surely they could have offered to play the Scarlets then?
It is disappointing the Scarlets had to forfeit their Champions Cup game. Bristol chief executive Mark Tainton said tickets and hospitality packages had been sold and Bristol needed to play the game otherwise lose out commercially.
