SUCH a shame neither Team GB’s men nor women could take home a medal. All players deserve huge credit for putting in such incredible performances to finish fourth given everything they have had to contend with since the Sevens programmes were cut.
It still makes no sense why Sevens in this country is treated as a separate entity and not as a pathway for XVs.
