IT’S fascinating how small margins make such a difference at the very highest level. Take Adam Radwan for example.
The Newcastle flyer looked electric for England against Canada last Saturday on his way to scoring three tries. He’s clocked 10.6 secs for the 100m.
Jonny May is England’s regular gas man with a PB of 10.69, while his Gloucester teammate Ollie Thorley has been timed at 10.7.
May is rapid enough when given a sniff, but that tenth of a second could well put Radwan on the fast track to World Cup selection.
