THE BLUES’ 18-year wait for a Super Rugby triumph is over after victory in the all-New Zealand Trans- Tasman final, in front of 36,000 fans at Eden Park.
Blake Gibson’s try three minutes from time clinched the win after the Highlanders, trailing 13-6 at half-time, rallied with three penalties in seven minutes to lead 15-13 after 66 minutes.
