Dai ‘years away’ from being a head coach

INTERIM head coach Dai Flanagan will take charge of Scarlets for the final time today after admitting he is not yet ready for a full-time job as a team’s main man.
Flanagan stepped up from his assistant’s role when Glenn Delaney was sacked in May. He wants to finish his last match against Edinburgh on a high before Dwayne Peel’s arrival.
“I’ve enjoyed it and taken quite a bit from it,” said Flanagan. “As a head coach you have to take a lot more decisions and get to put your ideas across.
