O’Connor puts the boot into Brumbies

THE Reds booked home advantage in the Super Rugby AU final with a late comeback in the final 15 minutes to beat the Brumbies 24-22.
In a rivalry that bears all the hallmarks of becoming one of the fiercest in the southern hemisphere, the Reds managed to beat the reigning champions for a second time this season to remain unbeaten.
As they had done in Canberra earlier in the season, Reds edged the Brumbies by two points which owed a lot to the boot of captain James O’Connor.
