We came up with our 23 for RWC2023, with one or two selections off radar such as Jack van-Poortvliet on the bench, Henry Purdy at 15 and Ratu Naulago on the wing. But the most out-there suggestion we all agreed on was to try Sam Simmonds at 12.
He has all the tools to break the gainline at pace and offload (maybe a kicking game can be coached). At the expense of leaving Sam Underhill on the bench we can then play Alex Dombrant, Tom Willis, Tom C...
