IT baffles me that England were awarded the Six Nations championship in a year that they finished tied with France on points, but lost their only match to France. How is head to head competition not the first tie-breaker over points differential?
Colin Boag even put down those that had lauded France’s performance in the Six Nations. I am more baffled that they weren’t awarded the trophy having beaten England.
