GIVEN the recent announcement from the RFU cancelling all adult rugby from Tier 3 and below for the current season, surely the time has come for the grassroots to consider a spring/summer season rather than waiting until Sept 2021 to restart?
This will enable clubs to re-open sooner, engage in the next generation of players and supporters at a time when the game at Tier 3 level and below is numerically going backwards.
