CONGRATULATIONS to Bristol for their tremendous win over Toulon on Friday night. They showed great fighting spirit to turn the game around after half-time and finish the job in style.
They have been competitive throughout this long season with their original squad, but I’m not sure whether they would have made the play-offs, nor indeed won the Challenge Cup, had it not been for their on-loan Saracens duo of Ben Earl and Max Malins.
