THE wind was so strong, you could see the stands swaying from side to side. The rain was so incessant, it was impossible to think any team could play a brand of rugby that was anything other than sub-standard.
This was Stradey Park in Llanelli in late October 1989, when the All Blacks came to town and turned in a performance of such skill and discipline, it beggared belief.
It may well have been the most complete 11-0 victory in the history of the game.
