A NUMBER of items from last week’s Rugby Paper show the mess English rugby is in. It’s becoming a regular feature.
Neale Harvey outlined plans put forward by Saracens’ former CEO, Edward Griffiths, about a new ‘Heartland’ competition for clubs outside the Premiership, with its own representative (county or divisional) teams, and with no straightforward link to clubs in the top league.
