I CAN’T believe Jerry Guscott does not like watching rugby in the winter because it’s too wet and cold.
As a player and now spectator for longer than I care to remember looking forward to a game at the weekend during the long winter weeks is one of the true joys of the working man’s life. Wind/rain and a few beers with your friends on the terraces is what rugby is all about.
Leave the summer to cricket, tennis and holidays and leave our game alone.
