Bring back rucking

WITH the game held in abeyance, now is a good time for World Rugby to give the game back to the players. Rugby Union is a ball handling game for people of all shapes and sizes. At the moment the top end players are highly-trained athletes who play to set patterns and the majority can’t play what is in front of them without the coach telling them. Spectators who want short bursts of ball handling can follow Rugby League which is a spectator sport; Rugby Union is a player’s game. Bring back proper rucking and scrummaging and open play will follow.
