ONE thing that Jeremy Guscott could have mentioned in his article about the continuing financial success of the NFL is the fact that at the end of the season, the teams with the poorest records have the first pick of the College players moving up into the professional game.
They are indeed entitled to trade these players in for alternative choices if they so wish but the result is that the wealthiest owners are unable to monopolise the buying up of the best players and this in turn stops their clubs ending up at the top of the pile season after season. Huw Davies
