Kick cost-cutting off with Sevens

WITH the RFU in a financial mess due to poor management, including overpaying their management and international players, why can they not make sensible cuts in spending?
First thing is, the cost of the RFU committee needs modernising.
World Sevens, men and women, is not shown on terrestrial TV, hardly mentioned in the papers and never mentioned in rugby clubs, so who benefits from the millions spent?
Women’s rugby should be self-financing, not supported by men’s rugby. Women should spend the money they generate on their own game.
