NOTTINGHAM winger Jack Spittle has won the Greene King IPA Championship’s try of the season.
Spittle, 24, scored five tries against Yorkshire Carnegie on January 31, and his fourth was a length-ofthe pitch effort.
In the club’s 143-year existence, Spittle, right,
became only the twelfth player to score five or more tries in a first-team match, and the first for nearly 32 years.
Since joining Nottingham’s, Spittle has made 36 appearances, scoring 18 tries – ten of those in 14 games this season.
