Alistair Bow, who has closed Nottingham’s Lady Bay ground and placed the players and the majority of the staff on the government furlough scheme, has seen income drop from £150,000 a month to nothing.
He believes that while clubs are cut to the bare bones the RFU is still splashing the cash on executive salaries, and that it has to stop.
