EXETER CHIEFS legend Gareth Steenson could put off his retirement for another year and pen another contract extension with last season’s Premiership finalists.
Steenson, who celebrated his 36th birthday last week, was widely expected to quit the game at the end of the season and embark on a career in coaching.
But Blindside understands that the former Ireland U20 international, who joined the Chiefs in 2008 from the Cornish Pirates after a season with Rotherham, is now rethinking.
