As Covid-19 continued to tighten its grip, it was reported that one carrier did everything in its power to fly stranded Britons home from New Zealand by running a service out of Auckland on the last day of March.
The price? A snip at £40,096. Yep, we’re all in it together.
There again, think of it this way. How much would the poor, beatenup British and Irish Lions of 1966 have paid for an early flight home?
