EXETER CHIEFS have rewarded South African lock Jannes Kirsten with a new deal after his outstanding season at Sandy Park.
Kirsten, 26, joined the club last summer from the Blue Bulls on a oneyear deal but told Blindside he hoped to stay longer.
He has played 673 minutes for the Chiefs this season, scoring three tries and had been locked in talks with them about a new deal.
Chiefs’ boss Rob Baxter is believed to have put a two-year deal on the table which Kirsten has accepted.
