SALE SHARKS have started work to bring their new training ground at Carrington up to their required specifications.
The Sharks will take over the 22-acre facility, which was built in 2000 and was used for years by Manchester United. Bury FC took it over but they were evicted when they were expelled from the Football League.
Bury only had to pay for maintenance and upkeep of the ground which hosts a gym, hydrotherapy pool and 4g and heated pitches.
