I’VE watched a lot of Six Nations and have come to the conclusion that international rugby is now played between 30 thugs masquerading as rugby players – hardly a good advert for young players.
We have ex-players acting as water carriers coming on every few minutes with the latest edict from the manager as current players appear not to be able to change tactics.
To become a spectacle once again rugby should return to its roots. Replacements should only be allowed if a player is injured, forcing players to reduce bulk and increase speed and endurance to last 80 minutes. This woul...
