AS SARRIES are appealing the disciplinary decision and sanctions, one assumes this will not be quickly resolved. Are we likely to see an entire season go past without any firm resolution?
While the appeal is underway, Sarries should be considered innocent. However, what happens if they have the appeal rejected and are guilty of breaches of the wage cap?
The sanctions, as they stand, are a £5.36m fine and a 35 point deduction, which is the maximum punishment available for this offence.
