Our beautiful game has become ugly

BEFORE a player is very seriously hurt there have to be some difficult decisions and changes to the game, once beautiful but now at times ugly.
It seems clear to the unbiased observer that decisions about foul tackles will vary from ref to ref and sometimes with the same referee. A difficult one to correct.
