COLIN Boag’s suggestion that giving free rein to county officials to run the community side of things and that sorting out the money is ‘not too problematic’ presents a far too optimistic view of the many problems facing the community game – and, thus, in due course, the whole game in England. County representatives already make up a majority of the RFU Council and, as such, are better placed than any separate grouping of people from the counties is likely to be.
