THE World Cup is the pinnacle of the sport but I can’t remember a tournament where so many stars were missing either through injury, poor form, playing abroad… or having a contract terminated! My XV of absentees: Israel Folau, Santiago Cordero, Charles Piutau, Ngani Laumape, Aphiwe Dyantyi, Danny Cipriani, Danny Care; Rob Evans, Dylan Hartley, Owen Franks, Devin Toner, Felix Lambey, Liam Squire, Dan Leavy, Taulupe Faletau.
