Welsh crowds sparse in Europe

IN THE article about a potential British League you mention the possible benefits for the Welsh Regions of playing Premiership sides.
I have travelled to watch the Tigers play Ospreys and Scarlets in the European Cup and have been surprised how sparse the crowd were and what little atmosphere. It would be even worse for a league fixture.
I can’t speak about Edinburgh, Zebre or Connaught, but I would far sooner the Premiership teams play Leinster, Munster, Ulster, Glasgow or Treviso where people care about their local sides and bother to come out and support them.
