Everyone loses out until we have level playing field for all

IN RESPONSE to John Oakenfull’s comments last week regarding the playoff system, I agree with him it is unfair when the winner of the trophy does not reflect the Premiership table. It is also unfair that clubs at the lower end of the table may have to play stronger clubs’ 1st XVs when there are no international games.
Other clubs breathe a sigh of relief when they learn that they’ve drawn the same strong clubs during the internationals. It is unfair on clubs that provide the internationals because they risk seeing their leads drop when their 2nd XVs are playing other clubs...
