Budget cuts could be death knell for some local clubs

IT IS devastating to see that the RFU are even considering slashing their Community Rugby budget.
I am afraid to say that obviously the RFU are favouring the high level game, in favour of local grass roots level, even though that every professional player/coach or referee started at the grass roots level.
According to the letter sent to the clubs, Community Game spending is going to be reduced by £8 million in 2019/20.
