READING your headline last week – World Rugby are ‘turning the game into a joke’ – I wonder if it’s too late.
The joke is the current game; scrums are a nonsense with crooked feeds, lineouts are a nonsense with all the dancing around and lifting; runners can impede defences and now forward passes are overlooked. It’s not the game I played and it’s not a pretty sight.
