I NOTE with great interest that Nigel Wray, the Saracens owner, is taking ‘duty and care’ to another level by engaging in joint business ventures with some of his star players. However, this would appear to be an ‘apartheid’ policy as it is not open to all players.
Clearly, it has nothing to do with the retention and recruitment of top players. When appropriate authorities wake up to this new initiative they will carry out an investigation.
